He played an amazing match!!! I really didn't know who I wanted to win, so I have mixed feelings now. I know Rafa's ranking will be about 15, what will Richards ranking be? Will it be top 50? Or is that wishful thinking???

Besides, Richard didn't choke. He fought hard in the beginning but didn't have anything left in the tank to hold serve as often as he would have liked in the last 2 sets.

Top 60 the next week, wowwwww

Je n'ai rien à me reprocher."

He said he was too tired to win the last set, he doesn't know how he had played in final if he would have won this match, so he's not disapointed, and added he played his 7th match in 7 days, and his 17th match in 3 weeks !!!

Great match today again, despite the result. He did fight, and it was awesome to watch. It would have been cool to have him in the final of an AMS, but in an other hand he looked so exhausted at the end that a final against Coria would have been a nightmare. But really, great match! best wishes for the future (especially RG )

Nadal's interview is very interesting, especially this part.

Q. When Gasquet was not playing well, did you never ask around your friends, what about Gasquet , where he is playing? He's almost disappear for two years.

RAFAEL NADAL: Yeah, sometimes I ask for Gasquet , but, you know, the tennis is that, no. He's playing good now. He have confidence. I think he go up in the ranking, no. I think he finish the ranking in the Top 30, I think, no?

And the last years I think he have a lot of pression for the French . And now he have Monfils and change the pression, you know. I think he's better ‑‑ that is better for him, no?
