yeah, genci made a compilation of all the posts backing GGL to beat Hanescu a couple of weeks ago. The first poster took him at 2.1 the last at something like 1.67. That post should be stickied to the top of the board so people know what a real public play looks like.

I've also noticed in the past that when mtf has gone against the public (in other words,the vast majority on here on the same player while his price remains around the same or drifts) we've done pretty well. Del Potro has been drifting slightly since the odds were released so there's no way he can be considered a public play.

Maybe it wasn't a public bet but I saw 5-6 guys going for Del Potro and only none for Roddick.
Tennis pre-match betting does not pay anyway, as we all know. But a good call and well done the Del Potro backers.
