Gael must be very popular in the village lol . Wednesday evening, he played Poker with others athletes like Riner...

Quote:
I suppose that even if he loses early he would like to stay in Beijing all the week I .

Always about Gael lol, in this video he's dealing with his friendship with teddy Riner http://www.leparisien.fr/actualites-...ideos-parisien

How often has he said that now since early June? 10 times, or whenever he opens his useless mouth. Don't dare to jump on the Gasquet-bandwaggon Mr. Dominguez, if Richard does something great at the US Open or later this year, while your beloved French patriots will wear themselves out in Bejing.

Well, it looks bad enough to me!

There are a few lines about it, Gaël refuses to admit he lost in judo, they want to keep competing in other sports, so let's get ready for other fascinating articles.

I'm quite amazed myself by the coverage he's getting in the media, that's a bit too much Gaël even for my liking.
Can't the other ones play backgammon with Estanguet or table tennis with Manaudou so we get some news about them too?

The inflatable bath is for the whole French team, btw. It's not the tub they have in their rooms.
The article said they stole the idea from the Amis who often take an ice bath after a competition (the Bryans talked about it in their blog, didn't they?) It seems new for the French team.

Well, from a medical point of view... that could be very dangerous! Gael needs some serious check-up later and I can do it!

I love Manaudou I want a coverage of Paulo in the inflatable bath

I see. Didn't even read anything, I just saw the picture and geeez, looks a lot like my medical school dorm with that bath and all
Why would anyone want an ice bath? Doesn't make sense to my little brain

Looks like Gilles does, according to the tennis section of L'Equipe he was playing poker with Gaël, the Jeannet brothers and Teddy Riner - he just wasn't mentioned in the other articles.
Paulo says that living in the Village and eating in a huge shed with 10 000 athletes is part of the fun of the Games too. He puts things into perspective, they realize they are really spoilt compared to the others. He couldn't imagine staying in a hotel for the Games.
Gaël hugs everybody in the Village, but we already got that. ^^
Everybody is and having a lot of fun, the French tennis delegation seems particularly enthusiastic - so they were really knocked back when they saw their draws.
Quote:

In Le Parisien:
PHM: "We're all so excited, a little bit like children. To think some players had told me that staying at the Village wasn't so great..."

I'm disappointed the FFT doesn't seem to have a special website about the Olympic Games like they usually do for big events, it's great to have pics and audio interviews of everybody - or did I overlook it?

Where did you see a dozen of pics of Gaël? I won't post them here, I know everybody already has an overdose of Gaël, but for his forum.

I only saw the pics with Sarko, you can also spot Mika in the background.

DPPI and Abaca have a lot of his pictures and Mika's with Sarko (also the Judo pics!). Give me a few minutes, I'll upload them to my Photobucket account and you can post them in Gael's forum

In l’Equipe today, but it’s not very interesting:
Quote:
They're running all the time to try to catch the next bus for the tournament venue and back to the Village, it seems to be their major problem (especially for Gaël - I'm not surprised, people always say he has "his own sense of time"). Arnaud says again they're joking all the time, but it doesn't prevent them from training seriously. Pioline says that even though it's an individual event, they're having the Davis Cup/Fed Cup spirit, training and living as a team. The draw is really bad for the Frenchies, but: "I believe in the magic of the Games. I think they will transpose on the court the energy of this team spirit."
