Maybe I'm a little slow on the uptake, but what has Spadea done to upset everyone? I'm aware that some of his book upset a number of his colleagues, and I have to say that he isn't the most "pleasant" character (although not obnoxious) but it isn't uncommon for these "characters" to find others with similar traits.

And Spadea's fashion sense... At Notts he wore a red and white stripe cap (on sideways for a time) with blue and white stripe tracksuit.

He's just so incredibly obnoxious. what's funny is that 3 years ago when I went to this same practice day, I noticed the same exact thing - that everyone ignored him.

Well.... it's strange. He was moving ok, etc. In fact I was impressed with how healthy he looked until he started talking to Doug a lot and stopped hitting topspin forehands...then near the end of the practice I was like, wait, he hasn't taken any serves at all It's weird, because he said in Cincy that what was bad was like on the left side of his neck/upper spine, he said the opposite side from where his shoulder was a problem etc. But then yesterday he does everything except - serve, overheads, and he sliced a lot of forehands b/c he said hitting them hurt, which doesn't seem to make sense with something wrong on the left side. Honestly, I dunno what that would be but he certainly can't win matches without a serve and a normal forehand (even if his forehand is sucktastic right now). So I imagine if he can't hit them by Wednesday, he couldn't well play. According to his site he won't play til Thursday night.

Hm, okay, thanks, I've never heard of him so at least I don't feel badly about not recognizing him
