Where is Willy
Ok I have been away since last Thursday and have just checked the Cincy website. Did Willy decide to skip the event to prepare for the Olympics? Does anybody know?

Re: Where is Willy
From what I've just read in Clarín Acasuso will be the only argie playing Cincy...so my guess is he's decided to skip it for the Olympics

Re: Where is Willy
Thanks for the update Dani As long as it isn't because of an injury then it's ok, because that's what I was afraid of when I saw he wasn't in the draw.

Re: Where is Willy
Hope he is training hard and also resting his body to give himself the best possible chance of a good showing. Also hope Willy is working on his serve. Is Nalbandian still going?
I get to watch the OG for the first week as I am off work.

Re: Where is Willy
he's got a wildcard into the guayaquil challenger which starts tomorrow, he's #1 seed, to play Maxi gonzalez in 1R... so... hope he can pick up a couple wins here to break this schneid & pick up some points before the end of the year.

Re: Where is Willy
Good luck Willy, obviously he is still motivated and not too tired at this time of the year. Hoping he can have a good showing which will help him get a berth in the DC final. I will be banging on about this until the bloody final is over.
Please don't get an injury.
Thanks for the info Snoo. Glad to see he is still motivated and not tired at this part of the season. Hoping he has a good week and can get a berth for the DC final, obviously in the doubles. I will be banging on about the DC final until the bloody thing is over.
Hope he remains injury free.

Re: Where is Willy
Ok Willy is playing in the Ukraine where he is the 5th seed. I also noticed that his ranking has dropped to 77, even Santoro is above him. He has entered the doubles playing with no other than Dmitry Tursunov. His first round opponent is Victor Crnvol who is from Romania.
Good luck Willy as always. No vodka until the end of the week please.

Re: Where is Willy
I hope he plays well in this challenger. It will help his confidence to finish the year with a good tournament. It's a tough challenger with many top pros. I like him playing doubles with the russian, that may end up with the doubles title. He returns to these challengers for a reason and it usually pays off. Let's hope this is no different. Good luck Willy!!

Re: Where is Willy
He lost 6-3 7-6(3) to Victor Crivoi in 1R. But he and dima won doubles 6-2 6-1. I don't know, I hope he takes next week off and goes home to watch Argentina win DC.

Re: Where is Willy
Nooooo. Snoo I was hoping I wouldn't have to read that score. WTF big time. His ranking will drop even further as he made the semis last year. At least he won a doubles match.
Snoo I think I am going to cry. I am sorry but that is excuseable for him lose that match.
