I haven’t read at all in Arnaud’s forum lately, so it might be old news, but I had no idea he was not working anymore with Bruno! He says in L'Equipe today they had decided for a long time already to stop after Wimbledon, they thought again about it when he did so well in Wimbledon, but stuck with their decision. He has no coach atm.

I didn't know at all! Arno also didn't say anything when he was alone in Rosmalen and I asked where Bruno was...

Let's hope that they might reconsider in a few weeks

I followed the end of the first set, the Frenchies easily held their serve and then at the TB were one or even two mini-breaks up, but afterwards they lost 4 points in a row, were down *4-6, saved one match ball and then at *5-6 the match was interrupted by rain.

What a shocking news, and just a few weeks before the beginning of the OL! Though it looks a bit like "déjà vu", I believe in the end of 2004 there was a similar story when Arnaud left the Top 100 and everything went wrong, he decided to change a coach and he switched from Remi back to Bruno.

Anyway I don't think having no coach will help him, hopefully he finds one soon or Bruno comes back...

Nolwenn seems to be such a great supporter that maybe she will coach him or at least she will travel with him until he find a new coach

I thought about that too, but I think Nolwenn also has other things to do than just travel with Arno. A career like hers isn't something you can put aside for a few months. Although it would be really great if she does travel with him untill he finds a new coach

Maybe he can share Thierry Tulasne with Gilles 2 of my fav players with 1 of my fav coaches Ofcourse Bruno will stay my no. 1 coach. I gave him a button with that in writing, so I can't change my opinion even if I wanted to and that was also the last time I saw Bruno irl

Does anyone know why they decided that Bruno isn't his coach anymore? Does he have other plans?

oh no..... bjorkman has got one back at arnaud! 63 36 60 !!!! lol

as for the coach... i'd like to add my vote for nolwenn too but only when tongue is in cheek

my guess is they made the decision some time ago, when arnaud was doing absolutely crap, and bruno would rather take a real job

well arnaud is back at doing badly so it's perhaps better left at that.

I read yesterday that Bruno certainly will take again his trade of professor of tennis in Aix in Provence! he wants to find 3a calmer life3! but He specified that his relationship with his brother is excellent and he will continue has to be behind him like he always has was!
On the other hand he speaks a possible bringing together Arnaud with the " TEAM Lagardère" .

for the moment this is that rumours….

the return to the competition for French whose Arnaud and Mika were hard! it there has more than 2 French out of 8

wow, just back from holiday and so big news to read !
I'm sad, bruno / arnaud was the best team for me.
Not easy to find a new coach. I like Eric Deblicker, he was one of his forst coaches, so why not ?

Team Lagardère ? Which means Arnaud moving to Paris ??
Well, funny to imagine him in Paris, lui l'aixois (lol), but not that surprising in fact, it's a good choice: almost all the french players train in lagardere team, even camille...lol
And of course, it would be easier in his private life to be more often in Paris

Professor of tennis, it sounds funny
I would love to take a lesson in that class
I always wonder what jobs people take after a life of tennis. Ofcourse teaching tennis is the most logical, but on the other hand I can imagine they really want something else.

I'm happy their relationship is still very good, I can't imagine them fighting They are so sweet together, as Marine said, Bruno/Arno is the best team

Shall we start a petition or something to get Nolwenn to have a career change?
Maybe she can coach the lagardere team

I don't know if Arnaud had time to prepare Toronto ... the last week he still was in France, at Nicolas Escudé's wedding in Megève (French alps)

Next tounament ?

ok then i take it that he gave up his hardcourt preparation for the sake of his good friend (since everyone only marries once )

he should turn up at cincy for qualies, i think.

yup it all makes sense now... bruno going back to aix for a normal life (maybe getting married himself ) and arnaud joining everybody else in paris

Arnaud who could train in Team Lagardere ! What a strange idea

With no coach i don't know what can happen to him but if Bruno prefers to come back to "real life" it's surely a good decision for him. But a bagel against Bjorkman is a little bit "funny" for a guy who feels that's he got something "more" since Wimbledon

Anyway, Arnaud is happy, as he said in l'Equipe today, he decided to visit the "Niagara Falls" lol. He saw a board where it was written that it was about 130 kms to reach them so he will go because he doesn't know if he will come back in this tournament ( thinks to retire ? )

About the bagel, he gets no physical problem and for him Bjorkman made a " mutant" set lol The most important for him was to reach the main draw

After Tourism he should go in Cincinatti

No, it sounds just typically "arnaud" lol

Yeah, and it would also be a quick change of mind, because in 's-Herto he was absolutely sure about not wanting to retire anytime soon

I think it's funny how he said it, because he really doesn't have to be at a tournament to visit places

Tennismen are not just machines, I think it's a bit stupid to travel as much and not taking the time to visit these great places.
I even wonder why he ever didn't see Niagara falls before, for all these years on the tour !

(ps: if only he could find again my earring I lost there in...1995 )
