He played two good games of tennis the entire match, nice.

Seriously his passing shots were way below par, that is supposed to be one of his strengths.

Only once in US Open 2002.

What below par, he only made one the entire match.

It takes real skill to play that poorly over three entire sets.

This is so :retard:. He showed that he can play in those 2 games. That was not a choke at all from Frank, he was totally outplayed. What was Dave doing 3 sets? There is no injury involved in this one, Frank didn't even moved him much so there were no movement issues, he didn't even played that well for this kind of scoreline. I don't think that I have ever seen him miss literally every single shot in his repertoire.

He was also aimlessly hitting his groundstrokes even when they were engaging in longish rallies, so it wasn't only the unforced errors.

I think maybe Nalby had an injury...it looked like he had his left hamstring strapped . He's never been one to talk about his injuries and the strapping may have been just a precaution...but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I really don't get it. Dancevic game style is not at all a bad match up. I can understand a slip in 1 or 2 sets but in all 3 sets? From 3 sets he only played 2 good games. I wouldn't even dare to think that he needed 3 sets to figure out how to play against Frank?

Not to mention that he has already played against him before, and from what I read according to Scott's blog last year, he completely outplayed him there and was picking at Dancevic's weaknesses.

Normally he is good at hitting those dipping passing shots that force his opponents to hit shoelace volleys, today they were sitting right up for Dancevic to put away.

(Sorry for flooding this forum by the way, but where else could I post rants like this!)

I'm trying to think that there is some logical explanation for this embarrassing loss. Most probably there are things that we don't know and will never know, only the closest people to him are aware of all that's going on. May be his injury is bothering him not only physically, but also mentally if the future is not so clear . let's have hope for the future although it's not looking good at the moment.
