I've been following tennis for a couple of years. The first time I saw any kind of live tennis at all was an exhibition. My freshman year of college I had the opportunity to work the event through my school's sport management program. Roddick, McEnroe, Courier, Evert, and Kournikova were the players there.
I watch as much live GS tennis as possible but I'm basically at the whim of ESPN, NBC, and USA. The US Open and Australian Open coincide with the beginning of the fall and spring semesters, respectively, so I always end up behind the first few weeks of school. I think its completely worth it though.
I can watch most players and appreciate their game - there are very few players that I can't stand at all. Those I just avoid.
Well, I look forward to getting into the board and talking to all of you.
