Yeah, a bit worried when I saw that he lost the first set. So glad he righted the ship and got it done. Glad to see that Champion is happy. I rewatched the FO semi and he looked very stressed. lol.

No, I was just following it on the scoreboard (it's a complete waste of time, I know).
Tomorrow there will be a livestream on bet365 and Betfair:

I don't think there is any TV coverage of Nottingham in France, but I don't live in France.

Eurosport 2 is showing one match of 's Hertogenbosch every day in Germany. I saw Ancic-Darcis, today Ljubo-Troicki...

2nd match of the day tomorrow.
Losing to Spadea is a big no-go, Gaël! Interdit!

In L'Equipe today:
Quote:
(…) VINCENT COGNET
Terrible weather in Nottingham yesterday, no way the guys were going to show their best tennis, the point was to cope with the conditions and be tough and Gaël did his job.
Bennet was dominating the first part of the match, was very regular, playing the right shots, it was looking good for him. But Gaël wants to do well in Nottingham. So he finally stepped up his serve, went a bit more for his shots and defended better to take the 2nd set. The 3rd set was easy then. Bennet: "Gaël started serving better and it became tougher and tougher for me."
Gaël has played his 2 matches in very windy conditions, it feels more like November than June in Nottingham atm, and he can't really evaluate his level on grass yet. He's just happy to string 2 wins together. "I guess I'm playing well since I'm winning. But I'm especially taking pride in being able to adjust so well to the conditions. Today, I was hitting the ball really hard at the end. It's an important win for me and I'd like to dedicate it to Margot." (No idea who this Margot is - the journalist adds Cibulkova is now over, but I don't know if he really means it or if it's just a joke about this mysterious Margot.)

It's live on www.bet365.com
He's so sloooooow, everybody keeps waiting for him, the opponent, the umpire - it would drive me nuts if I were Spadea. He needs 15 minutes to get ready, then takes a break after each game, calls the trainer for a toe, waits for the end of the break to start fixing his grip and drink a little bit and...
He just broke, but it's not easy for Spadea to keep his rhythm either, frankly!
I don't think it's gamesmanship though, he probably just has "his own sense of time", as this friend of his said in the article last time.
*3-2

He really plays like crap. ^^ Rebreak, 4-4.

First nice point of the match at 6-5. But it was close for Gaël again, 0-30 on his serve at 6-5 Spadea!
It's very windy, I hope that's the reason why they're playing so poorly.

Tiebreak, time to show us your new mental strength, Gaël.

The Betfair commentator is liking it, "Fantastic tennis".
Spadea is helping nicely, makes so many UE when Gaël's shots are too short.

Well, he just got the job done in the TB again, I hope his warming-up phase is over now and he will step up his game a little bit, I need to work now.

7-6 6-2, I only watched the last game again and I'll cut them some slack for the level of game, it was SO windy, this event really must be a pain to play. I admire them for keeping their composure.

He was cute during the post-match interview, said the toe is no problem, it was just a blister.

So am I! Imagine him losing to Vinny Ice... But he admitted in the interview he was a bit lucky to have won the 1st set.
His serve was solid when he needed it, hard to say anything about the rest of his game, he wasn't volleying much while I was watching. But I like how he's keeping his focus when things get close lately.
