Default New racket reccomendation

I know that i just posted that i am switching rackets but my friend is looking to switch to a more advanced racket also. This year he played 4th singles as a freshman on the high school team. He is 15 yrs old weighs 150 lbs and is 5ft 9in tall. He was using a head flexpoint radical oversized but is looking to switch to a more control oriented racket. He is an agressive baseline player with absolutely no netgame. He uses both kick and slice serves and is looking to buy a heavier racket (10.9- 11.5 oz) with a smaller head (about 98-105 sq in). If you know anything leave a message.

i am a performance tennis pro there are lots of rackets out there i would look at the babolat aero pro or storm or the the pure storm range. a natural progression would be to the mid plus radical or the radical tour which is a bit lighter i think

but as always my advice would be try before you buy as a racket is an individual thing and we can only make recomendations on here and should not be taken as a rule if that makes sense

i agree with you there. the radical midplus will have a similar feel to what he is currently using, but will obviously give more control due to its smaller head size. the radical tour is actually heavier (315g as opposed to 295g), has a 100sq inch head and a more open string pattern. it will also give more control than what he is currently using but will also help with a little more spin
