The only thing that worries me is Grishas physical state. Hes just played 9 sets in 24hrs and hes just not used to that. Lets hope that he stands up well physically and that he can handle the pressure well because this is Davis Cup and he has the chance to take Bulgaria to the next round. Haide Grisha!

He needs some work on his physics, but he is young and does not tire easily. I remember him playing two or three tough over 2-hours long matches last year on the Futures tour in Spain and he claimed two titles in a row there so he must be able to handle these three matches. After all doubles are not as physical as single matches. Good luck, Grigoreee!

Grigor managed to make it through a tough five set match. His opponent had a medical time-out in the final set and played badly in it, but nevertheless it is a fine victory for our boy!
Bulgaria makes it through 3-1 and we will meet Latvia at home in June (hopefully on clay and with Gulbis

).

What a great effort by our Grisha. This time he won 2 close matches when they needed to be won. His matches were long but he dug deep and gave it everything. At only 17 he took Bulgaria to glory

Im pretty sure that the tie against Latvia is on July 10-12
