Shortest 5-set match on clay?
Murray vs Eysseric today lasted just 2 hours and 44 minutes!
Was there any 5-set match on clay quicker than this?

Re: Shortest 5-set match on clay?
For example final in Kitzbuhel 1998: A.Costa def. A.Gaudenzi 6-2 1-6 6-2 3-6 6-1 after 2 hours 41 minutes.

3 minutes shorter!
Lapentti vs Tipsarevic had less one set and plus one hour of tennis!

I think you mean 1 hour of lapentti preparing to serve. .

Re: Shortest 5-set match on clay?
Rusedski Roddick was not a 5 setter, it was 4 sets.

I don't know and it's very tough to find because on atptennis.com, we have match-time only since 1991.
I suppose that since then, the shortest five-setter, played Mantilla and van Garsse. The Spaniard won 6-2 6-2 1-6 4-6 6-2 in the 1st round of Wimbledon 1998 after just 2 hours and 13 minutes Massu and Zabaleta in Kitzbuhel 2004, played a 2-setter which lasted 39 minutes longer

Liverpool FC need to return to the good old days when the players were born and bred locally. Dalglish, Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Lawrenson, Hansen, Grobelaar, Toshack, Molby ........ or were they just the Chelsea of the 70's buying the best talent available in the market?

Hmm but how did you find this bit of info? Do you have the entire database from atptennis.com on your comp or something?

We were talking about the shortest 5 setter on all surfaces, nice knee-jerk sarcastic reaction by the way Anyways turns out the Johansson Roddick Match was 2h 53 mins, therefore not the shortest 5 setter.
