By the way why does he keep wearing that green thing when he can wear the red one?

It says in my tennis catalogue for the red version "To be worn by Marat Safin at the French Open 2008"

Burrow, I didn't see the whole match, hope to see it later.
I wouldn't talk about the QF just yet.

Well he done pretty well with the red back in 2004, I'm sure he can't mind it too much, it is a much nicer colour I think than that lime, just like last years disasters.

I am trying not to, but with Safin playing good the possibilities are good.

Berdych will be tough though, but the main thing that was troubling Safin today was Cilic' good movement, getting quite a lot of balls back, plus, he was hitting just as hard as Marat. Berdych will be serving better though, which will be a problem.

Who cares, they're yellow, not red.
(I do like mango , though, just not shorts this long. )

so he still remembers how to win 3 matches in a row

the match against Tomas will be tough but considering the circumstances...it's not impossible. Tomas hasn't played since DC when he rolled his ankle (poor Tomasito ) so he has no clay matches under his belt yet...and clay is certainly not his best surface so Marat has his shots...oh gosh I so want to see this match, they'd better put it on Center court my dream match

He was wearing white today, with black pants. Looked really good!

He played alright, much better than on the weekend. Still, there's no reason to be overly enthusiastic. There are quite a few areas of his game that need some work, and Tomas will be a different league (Marin doesn't really like clay, to put it politely...). Well, he'll have a lot of help from the cheering squad on Wednesday.

Oh yes, I've seen those shorts before.

I think the white and black combo he wore today looked really good. Much better than the glow-in-the-dark lime.

the red this year's a different shade from the 2004 though. I think the 2004's was a richer/darker sort of red. or it could be an optical illusion because of the black anyway, if it wasn't, the 2004 red was nicer

Their wasn't much black in either the 2004 australian open - french open stuff, it was mainly red and white just like this year, and it was really nice.

And yes, that white isn't bad, reminds me of his Australian Open 2005 white stuff and TMC Houston white top (or were they both the same? )
