Re: David to leave a more lasting impression in Barcelona than Messi and Gaudi
David made a nightmare start, and the 2nd set was absolutely comical, but thankfully he got the job done in the end.

Unfortunately I couldn't watch the match (it was broadcasted by Fox here). David and Agustín know very well each other. I think that is difficult play against a player-mate older than you. With David we never know

Wawrinka shouldn't lose his match.
Good win for Nalbandian, at least he should be ready for backhands down the line.

Re: David to leave a more lasting impression in Barcelona than Messi and Gaudi
interview after his match
29/04/2008 - David Nalbandián d. Agustin Calleri 1-6 7-6(2) 6-3, Second Round
“It wasn’t a great match today, against Agustin it’s always difficult, and I didn’t play my best tennis and I’ll get better with each match until I get to level I should be for this tournament.”
“I didn’t leave the court very happy. I need to tighten my game a little bit, as I’m not in my best form but I’ll get there. I have a difficult draw, so I’ve got no choice but to improve day by day and match by match to find my best game.”
I hope he can do it.

You consider consider Hamburg to be a Clay court "Event" ... Lol just kidding, nah Hamburg is such garbage the courts are worse than some social clubs ive seen, and its barely a true clay court in terms of the bounce, historically the guys who do well at hamburg dont do as well/win RG, sortta similar with Rome, cos its so fast most of the fast court players do well there and die at RG. Barcelona and Monte Carlo are usually the biggest indicators of how they will do at the French.
I reckon after Wawrinka its a cakewalk for Nalby, Although Wawrinka is such a troublesome player for him dang it!!! I want Nalby to be in the final.

And for Wawrinka, I also believe David has better chances on clay...the first bad thing is if he plays Ferrer in the SF (that of course in case he reached that round )
I think it mainly depends on his fitness...so best of luck David

Re: David to leave a more lasting impression in Barcelona than Messi and Gaudi
gpatak has put up the match against Calleri on TennisTorrents.com to download. Judging from what has been put up, it looks like he/she will be putting up all Barcelona matches for download which is nice. I don't think I'll watch this one but good to know for the future.
