maybe this can be good info for you

BARCELONA, Spain (AFP) - Rafael Nadal continued his storming spring with a win at the Barcelona Open on Wednesday but said he expects to eventually run out of gas due to a crowded clay season this Olympic year.

"It will be impossible for me to keep a top level over four straight weeks," said the three-time Roland Garros champion after producing a 6-4, 6-2 second-round defeat of Potito Starace.

Nadal said that the Barcelona crowds will keep him excited this week as he continues the long-odds job of trying to defend Barcelona and Rome titles before aiming to lift a fourth straight title at Roland Garros.

"I cannot expect to keep at top level through every week," said last weekend's winner of a fourth consecutive Monte Carlo crown. "It's more psychological than physical.

"You can't focus all the time, every week."

and also in a Spanish article he said he would have withdrawn from Barcelona if it weren't for the public.

But knowing him, if he enters the court it will be for the win and wont be any chance that he tanks

It seems like a good idea, but it could be risky.

Stick to what you're doing, Jig. It's easy money. Just make sure you are placing with books that void retirements.

When the French Open comes around, look to take the OR price and not match by match, as it may well be Nadal doesn't have to face his toughest road on paper, which in turn will mean the OR price will be bigger than the cumulative prices per match.

FWIW, I'd also say ride Nadal for Barca and most of Rome, but maybe not all. Obviously as you are going match for match, you can weigh up each encounter. It's not that I think anyone has a hope in hell of beating Nadal at any stage, but if he does start to visibly fatigue, then it may well be best to hold fire from the closing stages of Rome until the French Open starts.

Like BG says, I doubt Nadal will end up playing Hamburg, if he does I'd avoid Hamburg. Again, not because I think he'll get beat (especially early), but it's not worth the risk.

Nadal is as nailed on for the French Open this year as any sporting event you can find in 2008. There is no chance anyone is taking three sets off him.

I'm watching every match he's played so far. He has been a machine against man. He is pure power on clay.
