Hello DTT Board (the old and the new ...), what should we do with DTT Zagreb ?

If I had to vote, I would cancel this week ... for many reasons but no blame on kengyin but he is simply in a timezone not compatible with the tournaments. He proved he could do a great job at Australian Open. Anyway, I know from last year than managing many DTT tournaments in a row is very difficult (DTT has to deal with OOP of many tournaments which is not happening in TT Management).

well now i have changed to an idea suggested by Drikke to only have matches from 2 tournaments; zagreb and johannesburg, i think now it should be alright

If we do this, maybe we should keep the points of last year for this tournament? It would be unfair for players to be unable to defend their points.

Every time right up to that tournament I think the first ALT to commit has been ALT1, 2nd ALT to commit would be ALT2 and so on. But in Zagreb kengyin due to no fault of his own as he didn't know(and he may even be right) placed the 2nd ALT team to commit as ALT1 because they were the higher ranked team. I think this issue needs to be cleared up for the future so it's done the same way every time

Yes, you are right. First ALT to commit should be ALT1, then 2nd should be ALT2 and so on ...

Well, this tournament a little bit chaotic will finish, so it will be counted.

should we make a thread for DTT board where we can discuss rules (changing or adding) and other stuff that managers discuss or would we do that kind of stuff in the 2010 managers thread (im still not sure why we are still using this old thread)? because theres the rankings thread for rankings and the managers thread for signing up to tournaments, but there isnt really a central thread where we can discuss like i said the things board members discuss, such as rules etc. and miscellaneous stuff regarding DTT

Maybe the the title of this topic can be changed? There's the rules thread that is pending, so I don't know if that could be used to discussing or open a new one, or use this with other title. Just some ideas.
