Re: Goodbye Goran...
Goodbye Goran, I'll miss seeing you play, you are always a great pleasure to watch. All the best for the future.

RICHARD GASQUET: No, I always played well against him. I always won the first two
sets in Roland Garros, so I hope not to win the first two sets this time. (Smiling.)
Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: Goodbye Goran...
as much as i adore Goran, i woul dhave been stunned if the Potato hadn't spanked him.
besides...i said goodbye to him emotionally after he won Wimby against Rafter.

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?
ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.
You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Re: Goodbye Goran...
You can go there if you want to pay a tribute to Goran
http://forum.goranonline.com/showthread.php?t=716
Ivanisevic reaches his first Wimbledon final in 1992, beating Pete Sampras in the semi-finals
The Croat fires 206 aces during the tournament but is beaten in five agonising sets by baseliner Andre Agassi in the final
Ivanisevic reaches his second final in 1994, but meets in-form Pete Sampras who defends his title in straight sets
In 1998, Ivanisevic outlasts former champion Richard Krajicek 15-13 in the fifth set of their semi-final
But Sampras is again waiting in the final and Ivanisevic is handed a hat-trick of final defeats in five sets
Given a wildcard entry, Ivanisevic storms to the semi-finals in 2001 where he upends British hope Tim Henman
The gods are smiling on the popular Croat once more as he overcomes Pat Rafter in five compelling sets
On 'People's Monday', thousands of Australians and Croats crowd onto Centre Court to watch an emotional encounter
Ivanisevic finally gets his hands on the Wimbledon trophy, 13 years after he first played at the tournament
Goran, the crowd favourite, bids an emotional final farewell to Wimbledon after a 13-year love affair with SW19

Re: Goodbye Goran...
I had tears in my eyes after he lost and I haven't even seen him in his prime. I hope he enjoys life with his wife and child.

Re: Goodbye Goran...
Bye Goran! Hope he will enjoy his "life after tennis"
His presence will be missed, certainly in terms of personality and grass court game...
