Davide today said that the match against Naso in the second round of Caltanissetta Future was the last of his carreer.
Thanks for all, Dado!

Re: Sanguinetti announces retirement!
Sangui was one of the players who seems to have been around forever. I was a kid and he was already on my tv!
Have a nice life after tennis!

Re: Sanguinetti announces retirement!
To be honest: I didn't know he was still active. He' surely not the kind of guy who should end up playing futures.

I agree with you on that. Even though I am an ardent fan of Paradorn, I was so thrilled by that match.
I will mis Sanguinetti. Good luck in your life after the pro circuit.

Re: Sanguinetti announces retirement!
Che barba
On a serious note, he was always pleasure to watch. I have never heard that he acted "come stronzo" . He was of a rare kind. Polite gentlemen.
Any news what he will do after the end of proffesional play? Coach?
Funny thin is that unlike most of Italians, his biggest results were on a HC and indoors.

he was injured most of last year, played only a few challengers and this Future was his only tournament of the season. He hadnt played a Future tournament in more than a decade

he was training in USA in the early 90s and went to college there, that might be the reason. He also had his best results in hard court events in the states

Re: Sanguinetti announces retirement!
If I wasn't in love with a fanboy of Italians, I would say "he retired before banned for gambling"
Have a happy retirement.
