Good wins for Blake, Tsonga and Nalbandian, today...all are expected to go out tomorrow, but there is a chance that one or two slip through the net (Nalbandian and Tsonga, in particular).

I actually wouldn't be too surprised to see all 3 of them winning. Nalbandian-Murray is basically a toss up, Tsonga over Roddick indoors wouldn't be earth shattering, and Blake just beat Fed

Love these days' update-by-hour-atmosphere, now it's down to three.
Go Nalby.

Well done to the best bad tennis player of all time for securing another trip to TMC, his sixth year in a row.

So another nightmarish year passes for those poor souls who've been predicting Roddick's demise and speedy exit from the top ten since 2004. Better luck next year, dreamers.

It's not over for Simon yet, but Roddick must make the final now for him to stay alive. So yea, if Tsonga beats Rodddick, it's over for Simon.

Nalbandian

Tsonga

Simon

Oh boooooooy this isn't Simon's day.

Firstly, Federer's withdrawal, sending Blake into the SF. Should Tsonga beat Roddick later (and we know that is very possible), as pachouille says, the game is over for him.

Secondly, Dave is still hanging around, having beaten Muzza in the QF. He still needs to win the title if he is to keep his chances alive, but I can't see why he wouldn't believe he could beat any player left in the draw.

Time for Del Potro also to start biting his fingernails...if Nalbandian beats Blake in the final, he is also out.

nalbandian said even if he made it he wont go.

the worst case scenario has appeared for simon. even if roddick beat tsonga, it wouldnt surprise me if he let blake beat him so he could go to tmc instead of simon.

Andy's much too competitive to do that. Especially against his friends. He would never throw away that kind of opportunity to make a masters final/win the title for James. He didn't even lose on purpose in Beijing to make it home for one of his best friends' weddings, he's not gonna lose on purpose to help James.

But he's probably going to lose today anyway, which would make this completely moot

I thought I was a little hard-done by at Notts this year...8 scheduled singles matches, and two are cancelled (Tursunov thrown out; Stepanek injured)...but today looks like being a complete disaster in Paris. Federer withdraws pre-match, and Nadal lasts one very quick set. One match left, and wasn't Tsonga struggling a little yesterday (knee)?
