well.. Nalbi came back from 1-6 in Madrid's final to Federer

impossible is nothing ( and if he does come back from this match, he should change from yonex to nike )

Nalbi is just cold.. he is not sharp.. and Almagro came in ramping , very focus..

his backhand working amazingly, and his forehand too..

Nalbi just got trapped in this, looks like playing like against Ferrero in the AO regarding he is not able to built up nothing, he is getting outplayed

Almagro served really well, on the other hand, David couldn't. I think it was a huge difference.

But still I'm really happy for him and his fans having a great couple of weeks, even though he lost in the final today. I hope he keeps going on with improving his own serve in IW and Miami.

Yeah, I'm not that disappointed. Almagro was serving huge and played a very good match overall. Hard to get many opportunities when that happens and I thought David did a pretty good job in the second set to keep it tight especially after a poor first set.

Now onto more important tournaments like Indian Wells and Miami.

It's simply Almugro's day. David was just hanging there not to get broken in the 2nd set. His serve was off. Hope he finds a way to beat mugro next time they meet on clay.

Maybe he's a bit tired after playing 2weeks in a row? Still surprised he took part in consecutive MM tournaments. It's a good sign that shows he really cares. Just need time to make an adjustment physically and mentally. GS events are played in 2 weeks anyway.

Good luck in IW and Miami,Dave.

David has still had an excellent fortnight, and this defeat certainly isn't overly disappointing at all. Almagro outplayed him on the day, and was the star player of the Latin American claycourt swing.
There are a lot of positives to take out of David's performances and results at BA and Acapulco.

I'm a bit late but this sums up what I felt after the lost final. I wasn't that down because I'm proud of him. He won a final and lost one in the course of two weeks. At least he shows that he cares and that is really all I ever wanted to see. Apart from that he's just human, he won't beat everybody all the time.
