When you walk through a storm
hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone, You'll never, ever walk alone.
He wasn't considered a hero here in Croatia though. He was a coach in our national team and he qualified for the world cup in 2002 but everybody was unhappy because we lost to Mexico and Ecuador. We beat Italy but it didn't mean much for the crowd.
Yes. I remember that.
But he was a great coach, he led the former Yugoslavia to win the U20 WC in Chile 87 with Boban, Prosinecki and many stars.
I think in the WC 02 Croatia wasnt at the top level like in France 98.

Yeah I know he won that. Well he was obviously a great coach back in the 80s and early 90s but didn't keep that level.
In 2002 he played with a lot of players from 1998 and of course it didn't turn out good, most of them were already too old; Prosinecki, Suker, Boksic, Stanic, Jarni, Soldo etc.
That team was never going to make it unfortunately.

Before the WC in Germany, Daniel Bilos rejected to play for Croatia, hoping that he would have the chance to play for Argentina... that didn't happen. But now Dario Cvitanich (scorer of the last Argentine championship) accepted their invitation.

That Dinamo Girl looks like Shakira with good boobs.
What do you know about Dario Cvitanich in Croatia?
Bilos, what an asshole!
Well, Bilic said that Cvitanich is not a "killer" like Eduardo but also said that he's a great player and that it's great he'll play for Croatia.
I don't know much about him, I know he was the best scorer in Argentinian league and I found out about that after he signed for Ajax when I first heard about him.
He would like to play with #20 on his back and he said he's very happy that he'll be able to play for Croatia. He should play already on 20th August in the friendly game against Slovenia.
BTW why do you think that Biloš is an asshole? He decided to play for your team after all

Arsenal and Marseille. That said if both met I would root for Arsenal 10 times out of 10.
I was living next to Highbury some years ago, plus Wenger and some French players I liked at that time. Easy choice really. My favourite player were Bergkamp and Henry, now I devote myself to Fabregas. Best player in the world in my biased opinion. I would have loved if Ben Arfa had joined Arsenal, but instead we got Nasri.
Well I support my hometown team Tromsø, they have never won the Norwegian league, not that this surprises me. They didn't allow teams from the northern part of the country into the top division until 1972.
Best they ever did was come 2nd in the league. They have played in Europe a few times. Now they have a plastic pitch, which is shit, natural grass is the way to go, can't teach skills on that shit, but they don't have the cash to have proper undersoil heating and the like.
Gamst Pedersen, Tore Andre Flo, Rushfeldt and Steinar Nilsen who was our coach until recently some of the best players to play there.
Got all the weather conditions, wind, rain, sun, mud, slush and snow, but it was a good atmosphere the one town team and also had many regional fans.
Best wins were beating Chelsea at home in the snow 3-2, and Gullit crying like a baby, though getting pumped 7-1 in the away leg, Nilsen scored the best goal. Then the second one was taking out Galatasary in the UEFA Cup 2-1 over 2 legs.

Liverpool FC need to return to the good old days when the players were born and bred locally. Dalglish, Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Lawrenson, Hansen, Grobelaar, Toshack, Molby ........ or were they just the Chelsea of the 70's buying the best talent available in the market?

Loved him. Wonderful playing conditions too. That shouldn't help.
Valencia Club de Fútbol, through thick and thin until the end unfortunately.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.
The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).
