What should be Pippo's aim this year?
Well he has 2 tournaments to defend where he gained lots of points. Rome SF, I doubt he can go this far again and RG 4th round, which is possible.
He plays the SA clay season this year, unlike last year, so he should get many more points from this and hopefulyl does alot better in a couple of other tournaments. About time he won a few hard court matches too At some point I hope he reaches top 30, although he will finish the year around 40 like usual.

Re: What should be Pippo's aim this year?
I'm not expecting anything special, but one small title would be nice. If he can get a decent clay swing and finish around 25-30, he'll be in good stead for another top 40 finish when the grass and American hardcourts roll in.
I think there's no way he'll defend his points from Rome, but he might even be able to go one better than a 4th round showing at RG with the right draw.
Bottom line; stay healthy, win a title and finish in the top 40. That's my ideal for him this year.

I don't think that will happen until at least one other Italian guy is worthy of his own forum. Simo could be next in line if he can string some good matches together this year.

I don't see why we have to wait for a second player How hard is it to add "Italy" it is just a short name

Re: What should be Pippo's aim this year?
I think Seppi could have his own forum soon if he stablises himself as top 50 player. He has quite a few supporters in here.
