No es mejor, nunca le habia ganado set, solo lo pudo hacer de local, con su gente y con ritmo de competicion, giraldo aun no lo tiene.
Por otra parte gran victoria colombiana, se impuso ante la adversidad del publico, habia mucho niño y en parte incitados por el mismo equipo uruguayo, cuevas no sabe perder, contra falla esq un papel lo estorbo, y diciendole cosas a giraldo, grande santi q le respondio con tenis.
Vamos con todo ante brasil!!!!

Claramente es mejor Cuevas, no sé si habrá estado presionado por el público local o por sus excusas baratas, pero claramente es mejor el uruguayo, he visto jugar a ambos y Cuevas tiene mucha más técnica y le pega mejor, además se equivoca menos en los golpes, sé que dices que Giraldo es mejor porque es colombiano, pero no es así. Es como que yo dijera que Adrián García es mejor que Alejandro Falla, cosa que tampoco es así.
Respecto al público uruguayo, es Copa Davis, siempre ocurre ese tipo de cosas, especialmente en Sudamérica , y es triste que Cuevas se excuse con cosas como un papel :retard:, cuando uno pierde, hay que aceptar las derrotas por malas que sean.
Suerte contra Brasil , aunque creo que será más difícil aún... por cierto, alguien sabe dónde juegan? Si es en Brasil...

Es en brasil, demas que ellos jugaran con daniel y belluci, con ellos esta parejo la cosa, he visto a giraldo ganarle a daniel en bogota y perder en bs as en un partido cerrado de tres set, pero bueno algo positivo de la confrontacion con uruguay esq salamanca-quintero pueden jugar el dobles bien y dejar a los singlistas para el viernes y domingo mas descanzados.

Lo último es bueno, pero ojalá por Brasil no jueguen Melo y Sá como doblistas ... si es en los singles, Falla le puede ganar sin problemas a cualquier brasileño y veremos como anda Giraldo en el otro singles... espero ver a Colombia en los play-offs en Septiembre.

Saretta may play, it depends on how he returns from injury. He's already playing qualies in Delray Beach. I trust him better than Daniel (has a dreadful record in best-of-5 matches) or Bellucci (too unexperienced).

Sa/Melo will be our doubles team for sure, and I'll be shocked if they lose to Salamanca/Quintero.

obviamente el patriotismo influye un poco en el decir si es mejor o no, pero giraldo jugo a un gran nivel y depronto no es tan estetico como pablo cuevas pero aun asi los golpes del colombiano son muy efectivos y ha demostrado que esta cerca del nivel del tour, tuvo grandes partidos ante djokovic(aunque le ganaron en sets corridos), thomas johannson y creo que contra el ruso gavashvilli.

y lo que dices sobre que se equivoca menos en los golpes,lo veo muy parejo con santi, tienen mucha regularidad y solidez desde el fondo pero ambos deben mejorar mas su juego de red( el colombiano un poco mas)de resto muy parejos.
