Maybe Canas is fit enough to play?

I'd probably go for a doubles specialist...sure, Chela is better than our Brits combined, but he isn't high on confidence at the moment.

Give it to Roitman or Hartfield.

I agree with that. Sebastian Prieto would be the better choice, he can play with Acasuso the doubles, they won Viña del Mar yesterday.

Coincidentally, the biggest thrashing a British Davis Cup team have received in the last 30 years was at the hands of Argentina in Buenos Aires in 1981 when they lost 5-0 and failed to win a single set. Their four-man team, who were captained by Paul Hutchings whose son, Ross, now takes Andy Murray's place alongside his brother, Jamie, in the doubles, were beaten by a two-man team: Guillermo Vilas and Jose-Luis Clerc.

Nalby will beat the British single-handed!

Prieto confirmed as 4th player.

So Nalbandian and Calleri for singles, Acasuso/Prieto for doubles. They've just won ATP Viña del Mar.

Prieto was the logical choice, and the Argies have now covered the doubles angle too.

I'm thinking of playing a Davis Cup drinking game...3 fingers for each game Team GB wins. Given that the doubles might still be competitive, there is a chance I could get smashed...
