I think we all should email tennis canada and tell what we think about
the absence of Frank in the rogers cup. I allready did.

Frank's new-found love of clay continues - he has signed up for two clay challengers in Europe for the weeks of the US Open. For the first week, there is not much choice, but in the 2nd week, he could have gone to a challenger on hard in France, but has preferred a clay challenger in Italy.

I would love to know why.

Per Open Court: Dancevic will play the qualies, after which his plan is to spend three months in Europe playing every Challenger his health will allow, to try to make a push back to somewhere near No. 100.

Frank draws Clement in round 1 of qualies, probably Wolmarans in round 2 and likely Ebden in round 3, ok draw I guess, Clement could be tough, as could Ebden, I'd favour Frank to get through it but it could have been easier

id definately favor clement in round 1..he will be highly motivated with the points he has to defend

Frank gets up for GS qualies though for some reason, 19-0 in sets in GS qualies this year

Ebden is potentially dangerous, but I think that whoever wins the Frank-Clement match will qualify from the section. Tomorrow's match depends on Frank's form and health, but I'd say it's 50-50.

he defintaley does but clement should also come out guns blazing, again because he has points to defend
