DC qualies start Saturday so you have to be in Washington before 9:00 at night Friday to sign in to be eligible to be placed in the qualy draw. He is playing the night match tonight so there is no time to get to Washington. He could possibly play Vancouver as a special exempt if he wins tonight but I think he would rather get rested up and fully ready for Toronto.
Frank is either the most fragile player on the tour or the unluckiest... I really hold out hope its the latter.
Last year he played through an injury that cost him US qualies so hopefully this is a maybe a precautionary move if anything. At least I hope so, because I was looking forward to possibly seeing four Canucks at US Open qualies this year
