Re: Frank Dancevic
Yep but you can still live in Canada and not be associated with Tennis Canada, look at Chvojka who has never had funding from them.

Re: Frank Dancevic
Well when a player isn't doing that well some countries' cut off their funds. It is kind of like kicking someone when they are down to me, but I know it is done

Re: Frank Dancevic

Re: Frank Dancevic
I was talking about his ranking in the ATP. Which I'm sure he would like for it to be higher than #152. So would I for that matter because I have watched him play some on TV in the past and would like to see more of him I didn't mean for my other post to sound critical of Frank because I do like him. I'm very sorry if I gave anyone the wrong idea

Re: Frank Dancevic
some players based in Europe (like Frank is now) skip Australia due to the high costs involved and would rather play challengers in Europe. I still think he should have tried since his ranking would have allowed him into the qualies of the other lead in tournaments in Australia as well.

Re: Frank Dancevic
thats still disapointing, given how well he did in grand slam qualies last year.

Re: Frank Dancevic
Well back years ago a lot of players skipped the A.O. because it was such a long trip away from where they lived/trained. But now it seems like everyone wants to go. Is Frank alright--no injuries or illnesses right now? If he is O.K., it is a shame he isn't going

Re: Frank Dancevic
I was wondering the same. Is he injured? I don't see him in any entry lists for challengers or ATP. Only as an alternate in Zagreb and Heilbronn. Hope he gets IN in Heilbronn and plays qualis for Zagreb.
He should play!

Sounds like that is his plan.

Re: Frank Dancevic
I wonder how much he will distance himself with Tennis Canada. I feel him being based in Europe is a way of putting behind his feud with Tennis Canada away and refocusing on his career.

Re: Frank Dancevic
He is on the entry list in Heilbronn Challenger as an alternate. Its a strong list. Actually I don't see Frank doing well this year and I see him to continue on his decline.
