Very cool. This will improve his ranking to around #110. Direct entry into the U.S. Open is now a realistic possibility, altough he does have 66 points to defend in July.

actually I preferred Sam in the final, but nonetheless congrats to Rajeev, good stuff from him this week, hopefully he'll get some wildcards for the US-hardcourt events coming

What a disappointing month for Rajeev. First he loses to nobody Garza in Tulsa, then he loses to Dlouhy in qualis, then he takes a week off and this week he has to retire...

He did take a doubles title, but I'd rather have him focussing on singles.

And another bad result for Rajeev. First he struggles against a 800 ranked kid and then he loses to Alberto Martin, who isn't a good indoor player. Also 2 out of 10 bps for Ram and 3 out of 3 for Martin. Rajeev was up a break many times this match. Will he find his Newport winning form this year? Will he ever?
