Re: The Asado Thread: Chat (and Chew) Here
Love Mucho or loathe him, you can't deny that he's an interesting character. That should be good.
Please can you do a profile on Lucho too? Of course feel free to tell me to get lost .
I'm off to attend some tedious lectures. I hope you guys all enjoy the tennis today. Unfortunately the bookmakers and MTF masses have probably jinxed David by making him the favourite, but anyway Vamos Nalle . I'm don't particularly mind who wins the first QF as I like them both.

Next time, please read everything I've wrote about Nalbandian in the past before you draw conclusions.

Don't you hate it when someone comes over here just to find their own name written in "lights" and get all huffy about it? Looks, sounds, and smells like trolling to me.........

I think I have read everything you have written. Yes, I can easily tell you're a fan of Nalbandian judging from your posts, but I don't agree with your match reports and think you overrate him a bit.

Don't mind it, krystle. It is gone (thank goodness for small miracles).

Personally for me, Heretic is welcome to post here if he wishes to, after all he is a fan.

I basically agree with you. My only concern is whether his interest in David is real. Perhaps he's another case of the morons who will jump off the wagon if David - let's say - falls out of top10 or even out of top20.
I have to admit though that I haven't read all his posts because I don't like his style...

Is it a sign of forthcoming cowardice?

First of all I am a tennis fan and as like that it is impossible not to be Nlbandian's fan, but if you are asking me if I am Nalbandian's tard then answer is no: I am nobody's tard and never intend to be, which means I am going to critisize where it is due even the players I like the most.
And I had no idea that this is forbidden part of the forum.

Never was a bandwagoner so therefore I can't get off any. It is easy to conclude my position and interest in Nalbandian, from what I have posted, but since you don't like my style I doubt that you will bother to find out.

That's cool. It would have been incredibly dull if everyone would have same opinion about everything. And for the second part it is unfortunately true: even if I am trying to be objective as I can I do sometimes overate him and sometimes over criticizing him (especially his devotion to tennis).

Now, I will put it bluntly.
Taken into account the fame you achieved by posting on GM, few fanbases (if any) will be delighted if you post your comments on their forums.
Is this your first attempt to approach a fanbase?
If so, it isn't weird this attempt is connected with your moaning about the 'weather'...

Fair enough, good that you admit to it. I don't mind your posts in general, I mean it is always interesting to read everyone's insights on matches. It's just that I think you read too much into things. I mean Nalbandian is easily capable of putting in a poor performance whether he was motivated or not and in the end it sounds a bit like the "Not many people can beat him when he tries" thing that we don't like here.

I wasn't attempting to join your fan base. I joined MTF to talk about tennis with people around the world, not to socialize with them. I don't think that interenet is a right choice for that. And about my "fame" in GM: that was created by a couple of posters who couldn't stand that newbie(who is less then a year in MTF) is able to start match results thread before them. So they accused me first that I start thread before they ends (so I recorded a video and post it on youtube and explained why am I faster), after that they couldn't use that so they started to whine about titles in my threads(which is a very subjective matter), I opened a pool after those reactions (turned out that more than 2/3 likes them). Someone tried to be honest and said that the real problem is that I start all of those results threads, which is also not true because if you check it you will see that I am posting average 1 match result thread per day(it looks like many to someone because sometimes I start for example all QF's in one day but after that I don't start threads in next 5 days).
I've noticed that there is a pattern in those who are attacking me so I start to browse the forum(I really didn't know that there is so much "life" beyond GM before that) and turned out that is the true: when someone for some respective fan base attacked me , he/she was automatically backed up by similar attacks from few more poster from his/her fan base. That's how I discovered that PMK (who I thought that he is a descent poster) called me a clown. I remembered that he was among the ones who accused me of starting the result threads before the matches ends, but after I recorded and posted the video, he never done that again, so I though that he realized that I am not lying.
However, don't worry, I am not trying to join and "pollute" your fan base by my notorious fame which is invoked by a couple of guys from certain tard-bases. As I said I am here to talk about tennis because I love playing it and talking about it, but if the trend continues and I am not able to do that because I will be forced to respond against personal attacks from those posters- then I am not going be in MTF much longer.
