Default ¡Feliz navidad y próspero año nuevo!

An attempt at a decent thread...

Are you learning Español? Would you like to? Do you already speak it but have doubts or questions? I'm here to help! Since teaching German teenagers isn't enough to fulfill my teaching urges, I offer to help you in your Spanish learning process as far as I can. I can't guarantee you that you'll get a rapid or perfect answer every time, but I'll do my best. Also, this thread has as many teachers are Spanish speakers who are willing to cooperate.

So, ¿empezamos?

LESSONS LIST

1. Defecation and expletives. Post #227

2. Second Person Personal Pronouns (regional variation) #381

3. Chilean Slang post #525

4. Various colloquial expressions of affection and disdain. #613

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

There is a Spanish thread in here somewhere.

Good luck with the teaching.

No no, the thread is muy bueno. I've studied the basics of Spanish like a zillion years ago so.. I dont always understand everything even with google.translate or babelfish.
And I used to be a teacher too, I have a teacher's diploma.

I'm an assistant teacher so my contract is just for a year, extendable if school and I agree.

Automatic translation sucks... I studied Translation and Interpreting.

What did you teach?

what's the story with the spanish adding ',no...?' at the end of statements and sentences...? quite different to the english habit of adding ',yeah...?' to the end of sentences, often in the attempt to answer a question themselves in order propagate the conversation so that only one person is needed to speak to hold a conversation heh heh...
