Re: Sich zäig der wo dä Gaston dä moscht hollt !' Gstaad Thread
I see that Gastón is scheduled to play early tomorrow (which he hates) unless it continues to rain. The forecast is rain until Tuesday night, except tomorrow night when they expect snow!
GOOD LUCK GASTÓN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

question: is Gaudio still with Diadora, because their website only shows Ljubicic and Kiefer.

no, he´s with Lotto now.
Gasti plays in 30min, but I don´t think of there will be a livestream or some tv coverage

He was until the end of the year, now Ljubo, Kiefer and Calleri get all the good stuff.

Re: Sich zäig der wo dä Gaston dä moscht hollt !' Gstaad Thread
Gaston lost 6-4 6-7 6-4
It was a tough one for sure, with the mental battle with the conditions and losing momentum after gaining the 2nd set, but it's always like this in Gstaad and it has to be dealt with.
There were some good signs there, he put in a good effort and had quite a lot of chances, but the lack of matches counted against him, like it did with Hewitt, if you don't win, then no matches, so there is the problem.
Good to break Vliegen while serving for the match, but wasn't mentally strong enough and didn't serve well enough to take it to 5-5. Not the best result, but some good things came out of it.

I wanna keep in mind that Gaston is back on clay, his fave surface, and that there were good signs. I don't care that he lost that match. He's back, that's all that matters

Why oh why can´t he get an unseeded player??? Ferrero has been playing very well recently. I hope Gastón will just concentrate on playing well, regardless of the result, and we should see some good tennis.
I wonder if he´s still travelling without a coach? I hope Davin can start to accompany him, but I think his family problems continue. And Jaite has accepted to be Nalbandian´s coach; he´ll only accompany him to the Slams (though not the AO) and the Masters Series. I know Gastón needs a full-time coach and Martín couldn´t accompany him, but I´m still sad about this, as he was like a father to Gastón. Still, he got him through his worst moment, and I´m thankful for that.

Re: Spätzle is good and so is hopefully the tennis in Stuttgart Thread
Don't worry about Gaston being coachless. Franco's in Stuttgart with him amd they both trained very hard today, under the sun. Gaston is up to what we know of him, and like of him!! A poor racket died of a frustration stroke But he's ready to fight. Looking foward to seeing him against Ferrero.
Don't like the draw at all, but that's life.

Thanks for the update, Choupi! I laughed about the "frustration stroke". I´ve just checked the OOP for tomorrow, but it seems Gastón will be playing on Tuesday...
Have fun during your stay!
