I don't think Potito could even win the tournament, because at this moment Rogi Federer seems like Superman (probably he's the best player I have ever seen).

If Potito plays at his best, I think he has not more than the 5% of possibilities.

But you know, sometimes miracles happens...

Forza Potito

It's on line a new Potito's interview. It's in Italian with translation in English.

how is his name in Italian correctly pronounced?

more like "stara-dse" or "starad-che"? Anybody who can help me with this?

Here's the exact pronounce of Starace: [sta'rat∫e]

The C in Starace sounds like the ch in Chair.

I knew it .
Some English people think that it's like Star ace. Pretty funny name for a tennisplayer if you see it like this and don't know how to pronounce it differently .

Forza Potito, this was a great tournament for him to back up his supreme success at the French Open.

His tournament panned out by beating Sanchez, Hanescu and Novak (all of which are very good players, especially Sanchez and Novak) before losing to Federer in 3 sets.

This tournament can only be a positive sign for him and soon he must join Volandri in the top 70 players in the world. Something Italy needs at the moment!

This tournament should see Starace go into the top 120 and get nearer to that milestone of top 100.

As I Know, he understand English, but he doesn't speak very fluently, so he prefers to speak Italian. He gonna learn...

In the meantime, it's on line a new interview after the match with Roger Federer.
You can find it at this link:

I'm hoping that his website will be ready very soon. Maybe I'll find more nice pics and get to know a little bit more about him.
Does anyone know if Fred and Potito are friends? They know eachother from a German tennisclub where they play competition, but I don't know if they are friends.
Would be cool to see that two of my fav players get along .
