Default Re: Part 2. Which one of these 8 youngsters will have the best career?

So far this season we have had Tsonga make the Aus Open final, Gulbis make the QF at RG and Cilic the last 16 at Wimbledon. I wonder who will make the good performance at the US Open.

Code:
1. Cilic	7-3
2. Tsonga	6-1
3. Gulbis	5-3
3. Bolelli	5-3
5. Querrey	2-3
5. Zverev	2-3
7. Korolev	1-3
8. Young 0-3
So far these are these results from the 3 GS events so far.

Ljubo just doesn't hit dropshots like Gulbis.

Cilic made the last 16 at Melbourne too. So if you add his win against Haase in RG he is at 7/3

Gulbis and Tsonga. I haven't seen Young play though. And I don't think Bolelli will do all that well, though he's the hottest one in the bunch.

Default Re: Part 2. Which one of these 8 youngsters will have the best career?

1. Gulbis. Has the most important thing in this game: serve, and the second best: courage.
2. Tsonga. I don't really see him a consistent top 5 or anything, but with his kind of game, if he's out of trouble, he can always be very dangerous.
3.4. (in no order: Zverev, Korolev). I haven't watched them enough.
5. Bolelli
6. Cilic
7. Querrey
8. Young. Weak mind, and nothing really impressive otherwise.

Default Re: Part 2. Which one of these 8 youngsters will have the best career?

1. Cilic - because I have been very impressed with the way he has performed in the slams at an early stage; powerful game, good compsure
2. Tsonga - great aggressive game, but my ranking him this high is contingent upon his remaining injury-free
3. Gulbis - brainless + powerful at the moment, but IMO good off both wings unlike say Gonzalez and unlike other players with a similar style he doesn't seem to be a mental midget
4. Zverev - actually I am biased ranking him this high due to his serve-volley style. Nevertheless once he improves from the back I expect him to do well
5. Bolelli - very good all-round player IMO, nicely produced shots
6. Young - not enough physical power I think
7. Querrey - all-serve I previously though but his results on clay this year were suprisingly impressive

I've left Korolev unranked because I'm yet to actually see him play, however based on his results so far he would of course be quite high

If by "career" we understand languishing for 2 to 8 years somewhere in between 150 and 40 in the rankings : all of them will bar perhaps Gulbis.

Cilic has made his first TMS QF and has a big show to make the semis.
