Exactly, he's no.8 currently, and we saw in his interview that his aim for this year is getting into the top 5. So he should deal with all the tough opponents. If he can, he definitely will achieve his goal, even the better.

Andreev lost to Johansson 1 st round last week in Doha 0-6 1-6. So he does not look like a monster. Wawrinka has to play a final today and travel to Australia thereafter, it won't be easy for him eihter. exactly,now he is n°8 in the world,he got a new statut he has to make the others respect him.
That was great to qualify for the TMC in shangai but it was a step to another level.The tough things begins NOW.
All these good opponents will see him differently I think.It will be tough cause he is the one to beat but richard will have to show he's not afraid of them and that he will do his job.Win matches.go!

Unfortunately, I am not sure he realizes it. (I tend to forget it too  )
It's not an easy draw but at least, it will be a good preparation for the AO.

So true. I was reacting like a fan of the "old Richie" but now he is in the TOP 10, has overcome a pressure filled match in front of his home crowd, given Nadal a tough match and beaten Djoke in Shanghai, he SHOULD be able to deal with anyone in this draw. We'll know in a few days if the old or the "new Richie" has come to Australia.
