We've seen stunts and gymnastics on court, some footage of the USA's 1995 victory, and various other crowd-inciting entertainment. Stadium is playing Indiana Jones theme as the players come out, and the players are coming out now. The Russian team is coming out now, with their flag. Carlos Ramos in the chair. Commentators on davis cup radio are noting this is a decoturf court similar to what is used at the US Open and has not been playing too fast. This should could as no surprise to Roddick fans as we know he prefers a medium to fast paced court, Andy has never performed well on carpet.
