Re: Guille in Asunción!
No it's too late dude, 2-6.
Well! I wonder what he can take from this. I would also like to know stats and such. At least he didn't retire! (which leads me to believe nothing was wrong with him in Belo Horizonte).

Re: Guille in Asunción!
i think the only thing to take from it is that its a long long way back home....
and he will either get so MAD at losing to people who shouldnt be permitted a single game that he gets past the fear that is impeding him, and makes the big breakthrough. Or he will say i have had enough.
i cant imagine it continuing without him recovering. but i couldnt have imagined juan carlos ferrero not being able to return to form either.

Re: Guille in Asunción!
But ya know, this is an extra step forward. His first comeback match, he retired after 1 set. This time he loses, but finished the match, which is big considering the amount of times he retired before going on his 1 year hiatus. So next time, he'll win a set and lose in 3. Then, he'll win a set and win in 3. Then we'll start seeing some straight setters! Good pattern right? Let's hope that's the way it'll play out

My thoughts exactly. If he is to come back he was always likely to lose to decent players like Gonzalez anyway, especially considering the state he was in when he left. He can hopefully build from this

Re: Guille in Asunción!
I know things could have been much better but he finished the match, he kept fighting until the end. I consider that a very good step in the coming back strategy. Just as GG said, things can only get better and it's gonna be one step at a time! Vamos Mago, we know you still have it in you!
