Zekić won in 2, Filip is up next after Volandri's match.
I really hope is ready to take on FF. He is 55 in the world but I haven't heard of him lately. He had a fantastic RG last year and reached QF... Maybe he was injured too.

Fog had a stress fracture in his foot and didn't play anything after AO. His lack of match play is a chance for Filip, a very small one.
Filip just breaks for 2-1. 
*And he consolidates for 3-1. Fog is atrocious, can't keep a ball in court and Filip is just kind of rallying, nothing special.

And 4-1 for Filip on a DF from Fog. Things are going good, without him having to do anything extraordinary, hope he keeps his head in check.
* And now 5-1 after a clean service game.
* And he takes the first set 6-2 after saving a break point with two aces in a row.

Got broken in his first service game of the second set... 0-3 Fognini.
* And lost the match 6-2 2-6 4-6. Busy now, might comment on it later.

Yeah I saw the match and it was so up and down. Fognini was making a lot UE in the beginning and Filip was steady and served well. Later Fognini raised his level and Filip lost a lot of close games in the start of the second, what a pity.
In the Filip broke Fognini at least two times and had been serving to even the score at 5/5 but he got broken again. His inability to hold in the 3rd was his doom. Really a match he could have won

It was a tough loss as Fognini was there for the taking. Still he is not RG quater finalist for nothing, the experience and quality got him through the rust of not playing long time.
Hope Filip qualifies and has a good draw in Roma
