Wow!

I checked every U16 tournament going on this week but the thing that he will go straight to U18 never crossed my mind. Silly me.

Keep it up, Nikola!

He lost, 3-6 6-2 3-6...But playing with guys at least 3-4 older at his age this close...good sign .

Both Milojevic and Miki Jankovic are playing U-18 this week again .Jankovic got WC for G4 in Montenegro and won his first match 6-0 6-1!
Milojevic is playing G4 in Hungary.I don't know if he got WC too but he should have finished his first round against some qualifier already, no results yet...
Anyway gl to both .

Miki Jankovic won his 2nd round but lost QF 7-6 4-6 2-6.He was pretty close and guy who defeated him won his semi 6-0 6-2 and won tournament after. All guys there are 2-3 yrs older than him so he did well.
Still can't find result of Milojevic match in Hungary...

Well, he just turned 13 so it's hard to give some solid predictions. He is extremely talented but becoming a teen is the most sensitive period...along from transition from juniors to pro tour. Many talents were lost there.
For example Milojevic successfully translated his game when his body started to change 2 years ago and is by far the best prospect in his age.He will be 14 in a month and is already beating 18 yr old juniors. That alone won't mean anything if he doesn't make it when he goes pro in few years.
Borna is too talented and will most likely make it and have a nice career but for something more certain we should wait for 1-2 years.

i don't know because some menager from IMG(his surname is frankopan,he is menager of bernard tomic, soo very good one)said for coric that he didn't see something like that from murray in that age but on the oder hand some poster from croatia said he is soo good because he is training alot.but i think that isn't correct.i mean menager is most competent than some poster.
one mistake, coric will turn 13 in november.i know he won against milojevic in final of moskva in last november, but like you said he is so young.
milojevic is way better now.that is quit understandable for me(it was just half years ago) because milojevic starting to to play like this on the start of the season,so just 2 months after that match.so it seems that is very fast changing things at that age.is that true?

he has very good requirement.he was born in zagreb, but he is in the best tennis club in croatia,tk split.
he is 5rd in the U-14(he was 2nd) and he is the youngiest in the top 10.quinzi is 2nd youngiest, but he is about 10 months older(there are saying quinzi is a big talent).there are only two others in top 30 from generation 1996 and overall about 10 in top 100.all of them are older than coric about 6 months or more(except one boy which is 3 months older, that boy is 94.).
the boy which is born almost at the same date as coric is 129., so it's seems coric is something special.and coric is quit small for his ages so it's not that coric is stronger than others.

Well at their age things are changing very fast, you learn to do some things one way and since you grow up fast and your body changes that may not work well in few months, on the other side for some boys things and the way they play just suddenly click when they become stronger and bigger and they start to play some good tennis.
As for Milojevic starting to play this well, he had 2 months break and offseason and you can see that he obviously worked and trained well in that period. He became so dominant at his age that his management doesn't want to him to play with his age group any more, there's no use for him to do that.He will develop much faster playing with older guys.
If he does continue playing U-18 tournaments he needs to be aware that it's not about results and that playing with tougher opposition is for his developing purposes only. Results will come in 2 years or something.
As for Borna, they need to be careful with him and not push him now since he's younger than Milojevic, give him another year to see how his body will start to develop and then make a choice of further steps in his career.
Anyway, I hope both of them will be regular on tour in 5-6 years.

it's is just one boy from generation 1997.(he is 153.) and he is one year youngiest.coric was about 350. at he end of 2007 and 97. at the end of 2008 in U-14,so it seems they are of same quality.
i know it's hard to say what will be at this age.

which boys to follow from serbia and croatia from U-12,U-14,U-16?
what about jankovic and pavic?

btw from which town are you because i was born in sombor

I'm from Belgrade .
Didn't look much at juniors in Croatia, heard a bit about Borna, he's by far the best prospect.
As for juniors in Serbia, Milojevic and Jankovic are ones to follow.Krajinovic ofc, but he's starting his pro career now and is a bit older than them.Of those "older" guys Zlatanovic and Lajovic might do something.
There's a lot of young players incoming, especially with tennis boom in Serbia recently so I guess there will be much more to follow in years to come. For now we should keep our eyes on these above .
