Guilty
I'm kicking myself back to Paulo's forum now

The only problem is Monte-Carlo itself, but we were staying in Nice and smaller towns around Monte-Carlo like Menton and it was no problem to go to the tennis with the bus or the train.

I want to stay in Monaco but the hotel rate there is unbelievable I can buy a small house with that money

Re: Indoor season 2007
@ Puschkin: I wasn't following the Frenchies at the time, I didn't pay much attention, I just remember seeing Clément practicing with another French player, I don't even remember who it was... Santoro was practicing there too.
It's equally easy to go to the tournament venue with the bus from Nice and Menton. One night in Menton was more than enough for me, it's beautiful, but I preferred Nice by far - I'm a "Stadtmensch".
I really was just joking, Ome.
Like the "Waiting for Metz off topic discussion thread" they had in the Clément forum - this is a "Waiting for the start of Gaël's indoor season off topic discussion thread".

Re: Indoor season 2007
Back on topic:
He was in Metz today for signing etc. and according to the website, he'll need 2-3 weeks rest for his wrist.

Re: Indoor season 2007
In l'Équipe today:
Quote:
On travaille toujours ensemble.
|
He made a bad move in training last week and sprained his left wrist. It's not sure if he will have recovered for the Madrid qualies, but he will be OK for Lyon.
He tries to stay positive despite all these injuries lately and means he always gets back to normal pace very quickly every time he comes back. Like in Bucharest, it decided to play there „out of the blue“ and won 5 matches in a row. Tarik wasn’t there in Bucharest, but he insists they’re still working together.
And then he’s asked about the Davis Cup again, the never-ending topic in France, lol. So he cracks a little joke and suggests a black team: Tsonga, Monfils, Ouanna, Mamata and Noah as a captain.

Re: Indoor season 2007
He's out of the qualies entry list of Madrid, that was expected.

Re: Indoor season 2007
Monfils forfait
http://www.fft.fr/gptl/2007/
He hasn't recovered yet, he won't play in Lyon either.

Re: Indoor season 2007
He must be gutted to miss all his home events, poor guy, I was so disappointed myself when I saw the news yesterday.
And I seriously wonder if he will be ready for Bercy, here's what he said yesterday to L'Équipe, he's apparently still wearing a splint for his wrist:
He says it's just a sprain, but he also means it's not looking very good.

Re: Indoor season 2007
sorry for gael
Perhaps he better end his season from now ,recover from this injury training hard for 2008 in benhabiles camp in florida.
Then coming back strong for the Hopman Cupin which he could face great players such as djokovic, chela, berdych before preparing for the AO...
