Default Henman looking forward to Wimbledon

Well, he was looking sharp against Tursunov, just didn't have enough luck. If he plays like he did in the first two set I think there are only a few players he can't beat on grass, maybe Federer, Roddick, Nadal and Berdych only.

Well, he's got Carols Moya in the first round If he wins, he either has Josh goodall also of GB or Fernando Vicente, hmmm. Well i've never rated Moya as that good a player, yeah ok he won the french many moons ago but still i don't think he's that good but he may be good enough for tim

Good luck Timmy!!!!

I don't agree with you - Moya last played on grass three years ago and this is not his favourite surface. I think Tim can win it in three sets. After that he has all the chances to reach the 1/4 finals and play against Roddick there.

oh yeah, tim henman who has only won 2 tour level matches all year is going to beat a resurgent carlos moya in straight sets and go on to reach the quarters. if that happens i guarantee to you that i will streak on one of the outside courts on the second thursday

Well Tim played a very good match against Tursunov and the Russian is way better than Carlos on grass. This year he had very bad draws (Canas, Ferrero, Almagro) when he needed wins, after recovoring from the injury. The truth is that his game isn't bad, he just doesn't have enough confidence and can't finish off matches that he should have easily won (example: Cilic at Queens). Moya is old, on clay he may still be a treat, but on grass he is rubbish. His best achievement at Wimbledon is fourth round and he always loses first or second round. This is the perfect chance for Tim to overcome his mental problems and get deep in a tournament for a first time since Madrid last year. I believe in him - Come on Tim!

another wimbledon campaign bites the dust.

i think tim should try something new at next year's wimbledon. it may seem like a radical change, but maybe he should consider winning matches in straight sets

Hey guys,

This is really, really late - but here's the video of the final set at Wimbledon this year where Tim beat Moya. Crazy atmosphere, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it
