I don`t think so... the post on his website sounds honest. I don`t think he would write this if he would have canceled because of the rain delays.

he got an invitation from the ATP yesterday to go to Shanghai as 2. replacement player!!! Two withdrawals and Kiwi will be in. Very very small chance but you never know...
