There's going to be some raving and ranting here....

So they decide to Triple the cost of application for a green card, and double the cost of application for a citizenship, WTF?!?!

If as a green card holder you want a citizenship, that doesn't really get you much, I mean let's face it, a U.S passport is not what it used to be, most countries in the world hate the U.S right now, and on top of that you're going to get Jury Duty. Oooh yeah, there's also the right to vote, big f*cking deal, I live in NY, it's a blue state and it's not turning red....
So basically, you have to pay $675 (Vs 330) if you want to do Jury Duty.....

How great is it when you have a monopoly on something (lets say issuing Green Cards and Citizenships), you can just decide one day "oh, you know what, lets DOUBLE or TRIPLE what we charge, what else are those people going to do....."

Imagine there was only 1 airline that flies everybody..... (not to say the the airline situation is good, but if it was like the U.S government, we would be playing double or triple for that too!)

hmm, I do not if all the new security features implemented(that are garbage anyway) drove the price up that much, I doubt it, I think this is more an attempt to limit the people trying to get a residence permit or citizenship.

Not only do you earn the right jury duty(ive been called 2 times I was in college for one, ignored the other , lol I actually I filled it in and never mailed it, lol) but you also earn the right to spend countless hours and money filling income tax reports, seriously what a bitch it is, I cant believe more people dont get mad over how complicated it is they should just set a flat tax instead of making us waste countless hours on that shit.

what? they might hate the president and his policy, but they still like american people spending money in their country, you can still go to pretty much any country with US passport, you cant do that with most.

You have to pay income tax even if you are an illegal immigrant, the fact that very few do is something else, but that is the law.

If only citizens (or green cars holders) had to pay taxes, this country would be in an even bigger debt....
