If rangers score a crappy goal, like a own goal or deflected off someones bum for an own goal it will become very difficult for sporting.

The equation for Boca is set now.

1. If Colo Colo beat Atlas, we have to make sure the overall differencial is 5.
So Colo Colo 2 Atlas 0 and Boca 3 Maracaibo 0, would be enough for us. Virtually any combination of results where there is a 5 difference and we will go through. If Colo Colo can batter Atlas, that would be good for us, then we don't have to worry about doing the same.

2. If Colo Colo/Atlas draw, we need to win by two goals against Maracaibo.

3. If Atlas beats Colo Colo, we just need to win.

All in all we have to go in with the mentality that Colo Colo will win by 1 and that means we need to win by 4. I think we'll do it. Riquelme will be back.

LOL. Man.Utd are going to blow the title and Fulham are going to stay up!

Well, not exactly, but with 4 and 20 mins to go today, both issues were settled in my favour, now both issues are up for grabs today. I still expect Man.Utd to take 6 pts and win the title, and it wouldn't surprise me if Newcastle take something off Chelsea, and I still expect Fulham to go down, but now both outrights have more work to do.

Bayern are really making me suffer for this UEFA Cup O/R. Another chance to take a lead on the road, and they couldn't do it after a host of missed chances. The one thing of benefit is that Arshavin is suspended for the return and that will probably hurt Zenit even more than they think. Luca Toni also returns and he should be able to do alot of damage in the air, as always. I think Bayern will make it through, but hopefully they will get off to a quick start and not leave it to the last seconds.

Boca made it through in Libertadores, Atlas helped us out. Had they not got the point in Chile, we'd have gone out, as we only won 3-0 instead of the 5 we needed to put it beyond any doubt.

Fulham still going down imo, Man city had so many players out of position for yesterdays game Fulham beating them is nothing fulham still need to beat Birmingham who played well in patches against Liverpool and portsmouth well fulham can beat them because Portsmouth will be thinking about the cup final, its all gonna come down to the Brum game imo

The boys were outstanding last night in Brazil. We should have won 5-0 at home but gave Cruzeiro a glimmer of hope they didn't deserve. Last night was a clinic in tactical discipline and outstanding counter attacking. We looked like we could score every time we went forward. The Brazilians couldn't handle Palacio at all and he scored a wonderful goal.

Can you believe we were out to 10's after the 1st leg? Just wish I'd had some funds to lump on again.

We face Atlas in the QF who we were matched up in the group phase. We won 3-0 at home and lost 3-1 away (the match where Palermo missed an open goal from 4 inches out).

We are looking stronger as the tournament progresses and it's shaping up well.
