Ok, well BG requested a thread from me and or Ivan, i'm not sure what he is doing, but i am doing my own thread and i will use a unit base of 1-5. Obviously 1 being a small play and 5 being a maximum top play, which won't happen very often. I won't be just covering the EPL, Spanish and Italian leagues, i'll be pretty much be doing Mexican, US, Brazil, Argentina, Dutch, German etc. Alot of leagues, no shit. I will also be incorporating things like cards and corners, but only some bookmakers allow. So tough titties.
I still and always will say football is the most profitable sport you can bet on, and i will try to show you how.

I noticed BG was sceptical of this and was quite surprised. Despite the way my season turned out last season, football is profitable, as profitable as any other sport. I don't know about "most" profitable, because there really isn't any one sport that can claim to be, it's about the individual backer and what markets/sports they know best to make it work for them.

Good luck with your season, Jig. I'm sure you'll have a good one and in the event it ends up going south like mine did for 2007/08, you know you can always back Argentina to get you out of trouble when needed. (he said, awaiting egg on his face)

Football has never been a good sport for me. Even a few years ago when I was a total football freak I just couldn't win consistently. Maybe it's because I was just a shit gambler in general back then and I should give it another try now that I've learned a thing or 2 about discipline and staking but I've become a bit disillusioned with the sport and don't follow it half as much as I used to.
