Default Asking for a friend of mine

My friend and I play tennis together, and we are beginners.

When my friend serve, it hit the net most of the time, and he always hit very powerful and fast flat serves.

I just want to help out of my friend, because he had been pissed from his serves.

Ask me for more details of his stance or grips if needed.

Is that continental? If he is hitting his serves in the net it could mean a few things. He might be tossing the ball too far in front causing him to hit the ball in the net. He might night be holding his left(or right) arm up long enough. Tell him to either toss the ball a little farther back or try holding his non-racquet arm up longer. If neither of these tips work, I will need more information to figure out what is wrong. Without seeing him serve, I can only offer suggestions.

His stance is his right foot is parallel to the base line while his left foot is a bit tilted, facing the net a bit.

He does bend his knee. I am not so sure about his arm that toss the ball.

I think he uses Eastern grip.

What kind of grip should beginner serve with?
