Paulo
Djoker barely loses a point on serve
Even I with one eye closed can do better! (In PlayStation, of course! )

He did not believe in it, and without conviction you can't win. Always the weaker one on the important points, and seriously in trouble on the return. Jai.

1st serve made all the difference, hun...
Decent tournament. You got to where I wanted... Two good fights, champ!
I hope his ankle is okay.
Sorry, Paulo. You deserved a lot more than this, but your luck never hangs around
I should drop him a message

I think we mean the same. Too many easy points for Djokovic with the serve, must have been something like 15 aces, that's a lot for three sets on clay.

Djoko's ball bouncing caused a lot of trouble for Paulo simply because it gave him time to think... especially on the important points. But I can't blame the Serb for that.
Paulo wasn't anywhere near his best today. But it's alright, I see a clear horizon. DC took a lot out of him, but he's getting himself back on track. And he gets his fans (at least me!) back on track too!
Paulo said prior to this match that if he could play like he played against Schwank (the first two sets), he would have had a chance. But he didn't. That's pretty much the story.
Still, a big thanks to Paulo and Mats for a great week. It's been FUN

If someone feels like starting the GRASS season thread today, you can go ahead. If not, I'll start one later this week when I have time
Grass
Let's hope Almagro and Stephanek lose so Paulo can move up a few places in the ranking

Re: P-H. Mathieu & Mats Wilander are simply AWESOME!
In the interview after the match he said that Djoko was a better server than him...
Glad we're on the same page here, Paulo

Jeremy
I wish I could enjoy someone else other than Paulo... I tried and failed horribly

Well, I also would have preferred to watch another Frenchman at that stage of the tourney , but sometimes one has to take what one gets and Chardy has a refreshing game.

Re: P-H. Mathieu & Mats Wilander are simply AWESOME!
I'll be happy for him and France if he gets though
But I only enjoy PHM's game... probably because I copied his every shots!

RG is going to be awfully boring without Paulo... And if there's no Frenchman left...
