Yeah, I was assuming the same thing. Let's hope he rests up properly and lets it heal. <3

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
Great play at Roland Garros against Gasquet.
Grass season: Halle, 's-Hertogenbosch and Wimbledon. Good luck!

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
He's not in the Halle draw, does anyone know what happened? I'm guessing he must be the reason they gave a walkovewr in RG doubles, and having more fretting. :/

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
He withdrew I don't know why. To be honest expected a little, he had long clay season, I hope he wants to just rest a little.
Hopefully he plays at 's-Hertogenbosch.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
Ugh, but if it's the same thing that caused him and Feli to pull out of doubles last week that doesn't look good. He's broken, Tommy's broken--thank God David's not playing this week. :/

I'm worrying for this reason as well. No idea what happened with their doubles match, who had problem. Marcel never withdraw from a match when he wins one in previous round.
But he looked good against Gasquet also in end of match.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
I don't know any more about RG, but someone on my LJ said that German press are saying it's a groin injury. I don't know whether to be relieved it isn't a recurrence of his ankle/elbow (and thus potentially more long-term), or to fret that it's ANOTHER new injury. He was so robust last year; I wonder if it's the switch from Challengers to main tour that's making him play harder and stretch himself more?
Either way, I'm getting my worry on.

Oh ouch. Thanks for the info. Hard to believe it, really. I hope nothing serious.
About challengers... I always hated this new law for him, he should play there at least sometimes. But too much CH also won't be good idea.
Düsseldorf was pointless. He plays every week and he all see what is the problem with it. Third type of injury during 5 month.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
Still no news about him playing Wimbledon but he is on the Doubles Entry list for it where he partners Robredo so I guess he will be fit for it or Robredo would not of partnered him.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
Thanks.
Funny team, both of them have groin problems.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
I'm not sure. He is very good team with Robredo but Feliciano's partner is Verdasco. But it's good news he is on team.

The only bad news is that Marcel will be in America atleast until Sunday and he has Stuttgart to play which starts the next day but I think he will play his R1 match on Wednesday. I hope he's not jet-lagged or anything.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol
^^ Would have been quite good idea because we all know, he was injured.
Gstaad is fantastic so far!! Really nice tennis, three straight wins in row.
Good luck tomorrow against Youzhny in semifinal! You can do it, Marcel!
