I'm really sick of this. I really thought he'll take his chances this time when the draw was opened for him to win this tournament. He dissapoints me again and I really think he doesn't deserve to go to Shanghai. Not this year.

WTF? No, because if I say "I think he can win this tournament " and you had to quote it and say that i'll jinx him and that we should think of Falla next

If he loses to Jo,I will accept this result.But now...
I guess I can't expect him to play well in Paris and to play in Shanghai.It's ok.I just want him to regroup his form in 2008.

It's really tough to say if he will regroup or not,my opinion is that he won't  but there's always a hope...But he needs to realise first that he is doing something wrong. |

Yes he should.He should practise his FH.I don't understand why he can play a good BH but only has average FH.Right now have to say he is the worst Croatian player compared with famous Croatians.2 years ago he was the best,how sad!  In the past he wouldn't lose to players like Koubek and Falla in indoor.I suggest him not to think of the chance to Shanghai,because even if he can make it I'm afraid he will be whitewashed.Just win the match he should win and lose the match he will lose and forget 2007.

Its been a longgggggg year for Ivan and i think a 2 month break is the best possible thing right now. I think 2008 will be a good year for him. For those of you who are Ivan fans and say his is done, you are way overreacting.

Everyone had a long year.And there are lot of players playing better than him at the moment.
Overreacting? Maybe yes,and maybe no.When you see his results in last couple of months,you cant be optimistic.Ivan said he will play till 2012,but if he keeps playing this way and even worse in the next 2 or 3 years I see him retiring before 2010,without any great result anymore
As a fan of him,I wish he can still play at the highest level.And I think 2008 will be a deciding year.
He will either regain what he had in 2006,or will drop a lot and retire soon. |
