By my calcs, he's already there at number 20 on Monday. But to get a top 16 seeding at Roland Garros, he probably needs a semi-final, and possibly more depending on what the guys around him manage.

The best possible way is to take the title and have a nice week's rest...

now I hope he can win this title! that could be more secure. as for FO, the draw may not be so tough as TMS cos there are 128 players. but if he want to get more, he must face everything! come on marat!

Nice to see Marat back at top 20. As for the seedings in FO, being in the 16 top seedings doesn't necessarily mean one will have easier draw especially on clay. Of course, a good showing here will surely help Marat gets what he wants ahead of Rolland Garros. But failing to be around top 16 doesn't mean he won't do well in Paris either.
