Remember watching Wrestlemania in about 2004(I think)....both Benoit and Eddie Guerrero won world titles, then they embraced at the end in the middle of the ring. Within a couple of years, they are both dead.

Can't have much sympathy for Benoit if reports are true but lets wait for the full story to come out.

Yes, it was 2004.

The WWE had tributes from the wrestlers on their site, but they pulled them down.

Benoit, Eddie, Owen Hart, Mr Perfect, fuck they could put on a wrestling clinic.

I'm totally gutted.

Great wrestler, one of the best i've ever seen.

I really hope Benoit didn't do it

As for that, where did you read that? Nothing seems to have been released that says that or are you somehow in the know? If not, it might be wise to not say such things until full details are given.

Flava and I have posted articles that have the police suggesting it was murder-suicide. The autopsy hasn't been done yet.

How must be his other 2 kids be feeling at this news?

Can't say that it's too surprising given the way the bodies were found.

I can only imagine they're devastated.

he was probably on steroids like all of these guys, and with roids people can go into depression.

His other two kids are from another marriage with another woman...they were in Canada.

PW Insider is now reporting that the WWE has taken down all tribute videos on their website after finding out what Benoit probably did. They have been replaced with old Benoit matches.

WWE To Resume Programming Tonight; More
06/26/2007 by Ryan Gray

WWE will continue on with business as usual with their SmackDown/ECW tapings in San Antonio, Texas tonight.

We are able to confirm that the shows will not be Chris Benoit tribute shows neither will they include anything about the “Mr. McMahon is dead” storyline. To the best of our knowledge, all plans for the McMahon angle have been called off.

Stay tuned for more information regarding tonight’s tapings.

Eddie and now Chris It woud ruin his image of a great wrestler if the suicide/murder story is true. I hope that's not rue, because it would taint such a career.

I am also happy Vince Mcmahon stopped that silly Mr Mcmahon is dead storyline.

I can understand his depresson since he wasben underused whilst guys like Cena, Blowtista and Edge are always involved in title matches. I hard he was going to be ECW Champion but that belt is just as good as crocodile belt.

WWE Pulls All Chris Benoit Merchandise
06/26/2007 by Ryan Gray

WWE's Shopzone web site has pulled all Chris Benoit merchandise. Searches for Benoit's name on the web site's search engine all return the result "discontinued."

We will have more as we get it.

Benoit Update: Text Messages To Chavo, More
06/26/2007

CNN had a live report from just outside of the Benoit home earlier this morning. The investigator interviewed said they don't feel there is a "killer at large," but haven't ruled out that Benoit, wife Nancy, and son Daniel may have all been murdered although it is unlikely. The investigation team will spend most of the day at the Benoit home finishing up their on going investigation. The investigator said they would know more in a few days.

According to reports, Chris Benoit sent some curious text messages on Sunday to Chavo Guerrero. WWE's Vice President of Government Relations, Richard Hering, ended up calling the Fayette County sheriffs on Monday requesting they check the Benoit residence.
